Simple question nuked.....
Ok I have a 05 Nissan Sentra 1.8 Special Edition.
I want to lower it but everytime i look something up it basically brings up the SE-R.
I was thinking Since they both have the same chassis code, No matter the model, suspension components shouldn't really be a big deal. I should be able to use them.
Now of course if it were any major/minor engine upgrades then yes it applies to the engine code listed.
But before i take the chance i wanted to check with anyone in their own opinion/experience and see what they would do.

Re: Simple question nuked.....
If you're looking at drop springs, there may be some differences between the models. Sometimes the strut pickup points may be the same on similar chassis, but the struts themselves may not be the same. So, it's possible that if you're buying an integrated coilover assembly, which replaces everything (strut and spring) it might go on all trim levels in a certain chassis. If you're just buying springs, a spring for one trim level might not fit another because of strut differences. Higher performance models often have bigger struts, shorter struts, different strut tops, inverted struts, stuff like that. This may not apply on your car, but it is fairly common. Honda/Acura stuff is pretty interchangeable, but the rule of thumb is that if you go to a few vendor sites and only see one trim level listed, there's probably a reason. Go to the spring manufacturers sites, and see if they have different listings for the different trim levels..
