Well, my car won't start.
Hey guys,
I went outside to make the drive to the gym about an hour ago, turned the key, and the car would not start.
It spins the starter, attempts to start, then shuts off immediately. I tried over and over and eventually it stopped even trying to turn on. It's just spinning.
Now my car runs just fine. It's a 94 Honda Accord. The only thing is, it has done something kinda similar to this in the past. What happened was I would try to start it, it would cut on for maybe half a second then turn off. Confused, I left it alone for 10 or 15 minutes. Tried again, and boom. Started right up. I forgot about it ever happening up until this point.
This time, it's been over an hour and it still won't turn on.
Like I said, the car is mechanically sound. The only thing is... the guy that owned it before me was really into car audio. He installed a bunch of crap on it like a giant equalizer in the ceiling, a remote start that bypasses the clutch switch (stupid, I know), etc etc. Could it be related to this?
Having literally zero car electronic experience, I'm kind of dead in the water on this. Shops are closed until Tuesday and I don't have another car to drive since I'm at school.
Do yall have any recommendations or suggestions?
