Default ls/vtec turbo problem

i need help with my ls/vtec turbo. i have a pr3 ecu with a vafc and a 3bar map sensor. my problem is that with my 3 bar hooked up my car doesnt want to start with my ground wire hooked up. but as soon as pull my ground off my car starts and when i put my ground close to the 3 bar my car idles right but if i keep the ground there for to long it starts to run like poop. any adive or help will be greatly appreicated.pm me or leave a reply and ill keep eveyone posted thanks guys

I would recommend chipping your PR3 and tune it. Get rid of the hack. Do it right the first time.

with what kinda chip b/c i already have a mugen chipped pr3 and if i get rid of the hack ho would i get it tuned. everyone told me there is no way unless i have the hack

wow you really need something better than that setup. Like the others said get a chipped ecu and get it tuned. Ditch that pos afc. There are plenty of places to get ecus chipped. I recommend www.j-k-tuning.com

AFC "hack" is such as waste man...... you need to rethink and take a different route on your fuel management system. If you already have a chipped ECU, why not just get a basemap and get tuned with CROME or Uberdata.

It's already a bad move having the AFC "hack".... let alone incorporating a 3 bar map under a modified (chipped) Mugen wannabe ECU. Think of it this way..... your ECU is already hacked in two different ways: the chip and the AFC.
