I know there has been numerous threads about paint jobs but when I searched I couldn't find what I was looking for. Anyways, I am sick of looking at my lambo orange FD and am ready to paint it a dark metallic gray (that color GM put on the tahoe). The car started off as montego blue and the previous owner painted it (not a very good paint job) lambo orange. Basically I am wondering what kind of paint job I could get on it for @ $2,500. On a scale of 0-10 (10 being an A+ paint job) will $2,500 get me a decent paint job with no dripping/overspray? I am guessing, since I have never had anything painted, that it should get me a 7-8 rated paint job. If you have had your car painted, what kind of car was it/how much did you spend/ and who did the job? Thanks

I will probably be taking off that c-west kit that is on it as well.

Assuming your body work is straight, I think $2500 should get you a pretty nice paint job. S
