Not a problem, just a question
Ok i have been running a open 3" D.P. on my turbo SOHC at 9psi for about 5 months now. Yesterday i got the D.P. hooked up to the rest of my 3" exhaust. While driving home i noticed that ny car was conciderably faster and my turbo spooled much quicker. I never hit full boost in 5th gear and now i do.
Is this due to the added back preasure to help with motor power while out of boost? Wich inturn would spool the turbo quicker?
Like i said its far from a problem, more power is never a problem. I just figured that an open down pipe would be faster.

Honestly bro, I think it's because the O2 sensor is now installed.
After tuning, the ecu was programmed to compensate with various conditions... O2 sensor plays a big role in this. Now that fuel mapping is actually occuring for a more efficient combustion, which affetcs the exhaust gas that makes the turbo spool....
