looking to get a tittle
sounds like the man needs to run the vin on your bike and if it is a chop shop that you plan on taking it to, i hope they get the bone. you sir made a bad move buying a bike without a title unless it was just lost.
you need a bill of sale from the seller .. take it to your bank and get the bill of sale Notarized
then go to DMV fill out the aply for title paper. im not sure what happens after that but it will save you a trip to DMV .. you need the bill of sale Notarized for sure.

find a frame with a title and swap everything over... the easyest way..
if the bike is stoling ur more and likey fucked. but u still might beable to keep the bike and get a title for it.. just alot of paper work and dealing with dmv/cops

i went through this with a bike that i had bought. i ended up going through a titleing service. "international title" i think. of course this was on an older bike (30yrs old) were some states don't require a title to register like virginia does. but once its registered in your name in a different state then you can change the registation to va and still have no title.
