Just bought 91 dx. Might be buying zc swap but he said i need an unchipped
p28 ecu and wiring harness. Is that all i need for the swap. Also what does a wiring harness run?

 

if you run an obd0 zc then you just have to modify your stock harness for the dpfi to mpfi and run a pm6 (si) or pg7 (integra 88-89) or pm7 (zc) ecu. i had a dohc zc hatch and my wifes crx has one too pretty straight forward swap ive done more than a few.

 

doesn't he also need the motor mounts and a new shift linkage? i did a ls swap in an EF and needed the custom mounts and the linkage.

 

obd0 zc sohc or dohc is a drop in affair bolts right up to stock mounts and shift linkage

to the OP, why were told you need a P28? That's an OBD1 ECU. For a ZC, run what hybrid said... PG7, PM6, or PM7 <--- OBD0 ECU's.

 

Trying to get swap from ludachrisvt. its a
single cam zc vtec swap. Its on 3rd page of parts for sale

 

i did one of those in my brothers ef sedan well z6 head on a sohc zc and ran a pg7 ecu and just ran a vtec controller but with a p28 you have to get a obd0 to obd1 jumper.

 

/\ also need a obd1 distributor, and 4 wire o2 sensor
