gsr surging a cold start

gsr surging a cold start

the other day i went out to start my car, it fired fine, but surged then cut out, fired right back up surged until the car got warm, its been doing this for the last 2 days...,what could cause this problem?

ew, bad gas/water in the tank maybe? did thick smoke come from the exhaust?

yea clean the iacv and throttle body.

only does it at start up, couldnt be the iacv, no cel and i just replaced less than a month ago....car idles fine when coolant temp gets up, only does when cold

Try the fast idle valve under the throttle body then.Just remove the two screws on the valve and there is a spring you will need to tighten using a flat head screwdriver..
