I'm looking for a beater that runs without needing any major repairs. I just need something to get me from point A to point b. Cars are preferred to trucks. Something Japanese would be a plus, but not a must. I'm trying to keep this under $1,000.

its a 01 mirage..automatic..has 131xxx miles..03/09 inspection and has chrome aluminum wheels on it....the clearcoat is peeling off and the rear bumper is kinda loose...other tan that the car is clean and straight...runs great and drives great...will be cleaned out before sale...no trades but cash talks and bullshit walks

hey diff i drove this mirage for about an hour today...i must say this car runs and drives like a dream...you cant even hear it running...a/c works and the only problem i see is the pass rear window wont roll down...also vacumed it out and shit....
