im wondering if any one knows if a 96 gsr exhaust manifold will fit on a 1990 ls. Any info would be awesome!

Yes and no. It will bolt to the head (it's the intake side that changes on B series). However, the GSR header is shorter (due to being a '96), I'm fairly certain (if memory recalls) that the primary O2 bung will place the sensor right around the half shaft. One could say the LS block is taller, depends on how you want to word it.

Now, you could either use a GSR cat, or extend the B pipe. But, its 3:30am and I have a haf kicked in vicodin atm. Think I'll stop the tech talk replies now.

 

i had a 90 civic si with a ls swap and it had a gsr header and everything seemed to go together fine

 

Name all exhaust components (header, B pipe, cat, cat-back, etc.) you had on this 90 Civic Si.

 

gsr header and down pipe, unknown tespipe and unknown cat back. it was all on the car when i got it. and "this si"? wtf, u sound like i never had one or sumthin. when i got the car it had all of the said above except it had a dc 4-1 header, then i sold the car and bought it back, when i bought it back it had the gsr header, rest of the exhaust was still the same
