Default 750cc RC injectors

Sup people,

So i am runnin stock injectors which i think are like 350cc or something like that in my VTSC S2000. I am at 305rwhp and 192lbs tq. Tuned on AEM EMS. I am about to grab up some RC Saturated 750cc injectors from a friend. And i have two questions

1. What kind of gains will i be lookin at?

2. Can i shave my stock clips to accomidate these or should i just throw down on some new ones to fit it?

TIA

Skate

1. You will have ZERO gains UNLESS you need larger injectors. If you're tuned properly now, and the injectors you have are still large enough to supply enough fuel, adding more fuel with larger injectors won't net anything. This is the same thing as people getting a fuel pressure regulator and higher flow fuel rail and fuel pump when they don't need it. If you're getting the right amount of fuel, adding more doesn't help you.

2. You can get short adapter pigtails that will go from the stock (Denso?) connector to the Bosch/Delphi/Tyco-type universal connector that the RC injectors use, if you're worried about modifying the stock engine harness.

in other words you car is pushing out the max amount of fuel the injector can put out, the car prob still has a lot more power in it but needs more fuel to get more power....so then when you get bigger injectors you need a new tune

The injectors can't be that far off of optimal though. It's a supercharger, so there isn't any way to regulate boost without a physical change in the drive ratio. it's not like limiting boost with a wastegate to keep from getting too lean. The boost now is the same boost with the larger injectors, so all that will likely change is the air/fuel ratio unless the pulley will get swapped out at the same time. So it can't be too far off if it isn't on the dangerous side of lean. So while there is probably some good power gains from larger injectors, it probably won't be too much.

yeah without tunning it after installing the injectors you wont gain shit. but with a proper tune you could maybe get 5-15 it depends on tune.....
