Default Cook positions

Does anyone know of any places hiring cooks??
I have about 1 1/2 years of experience. Looking for something in or close to the Kempsville/Fairfeild/Larkspur area. Only reason is that I don't drive. But I'm never late to a job!!!
Thanks for any help.

starting wages??

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

i just got hired at Napa (i know, not the best, but its a job) and i was wondering what the starting wage for a general service technician??

if it matters....
i have taken a class for auto body
two years work experience (non-related)
and i have experience doin some 'minor' things to cars..

any help/info is appreciated,

EDIT: They are gona start me at min wage, then "evaluate" my progress in 90 days to see if i "deserve" a raise...

Not trying to clutter your thread, so consider this a free bump and just pm me your answer if you dont mind.

But what are some of the ways to get into cooking? I know it's an ignorant question, and quite broad, and I've not googled it, but everywhere I look they're only hiring experienced cooks. I just want to start out chopping some shit up for the guys, and maybe keeping an eye on the sides / bread and what not, and learn more / work my way up. Thanks man.
