I have a stock 92 accord that was fine up untill recently. I was driving home and all of a sudden at a stop light it just cut off. I tried restarting it and it started after a few attempts. It ran fine again for a little while then died on me again as i was just getting started at an intersectionl. I couldnt restart it so i left it. When i cam back the next morning i tried starting it and low and behold it started for me. Since then its driven good other than dieing out on me once or twice more. other than that issue everything seems to be ok. Im just curious as to what it could be as i dont want it to conk out on me again id rather fix the issue. All my spark plugs and wires are newer as well as my distributor so i can rule out spark. any ideas would be appreciated. thanks

 

Sounds like the main relay is dying.

 

It could be the Coil as well. I did a swap a while back and the car ran fine until it warmed up and then it died. Let it sit for a minute or two and then it started again. Drove a few miles and died again. Went back later on that day to pick it up and it started up fine. Put another coil in it and it ran fine and the owner has not had an issue since.
