My customer asked if there was a better motor for his car since he blew the stock engine on his 2005 Civic LX, so I immediately suggested the big K swap, but for $$$ issues he settled for the SOHC Vtec. Got the motor, did the swap, everything fine, but the EX ECU they got him was faulty. Question is if ya think its a pretty smart idea to keep his stock ecu & install a VAFC 1 or 2 & tune the A/F a lil, or does the EX ecu alot better?
