I have a 96 ej8 that i just rebuilt a d16y8 for and am looking to change over to a JDM B16A from HMO. Im looking to get the 2250.00 JDM B16A full changeover and am wondering what will work in the parts that come with it and what i will have to buy since mine is a 96 and the swap is ment for 92-95. Any help on the parts list will be greatly appreciated.

 

It should just drop right in. I'm no expert with motor swaps, but I've done my share. I'm not too sure about the wiring harnesses, if they're interchangable or if you'll need a conversion. As far as mounts go, it shouldn't be a problem. You'll need to either get a Bseries throttle cable or modify yours. I'm not sure if the motors from HMO come with shift linkages and/or axles, but you'll need them.
It's definitely one of the easiest swaps out there.
