Default Speed sensor cable
I have a b16 in the rex the speed sensor cable is not wired up and plugged in. Does that affect the idle.

it might but what happens is that the ecu go to a safe mode with out the speed cable pluged in. And your ecu doesnt know what rpm the motors at and doent tell the ecu to kick in the vtec at 52000rpm.
