is it true that the probe gt and the 626 v6 use the same engine? my friends car is a 94 and someone told him that even with the mazda valve covers its the same exact engine thats in the probe gt... the reason im askin is because you cant find many performance parts for a '94 626, but if the engine is the same i can get any part for a 94 probe GT w/the v6... anyone know anything about this?

 

yup... its all the same probe/mx-6/626... only difference is the body.. engine parts will fit all cars

and a sheet metal manifold is soon to be sold as well.

If you are looking for some go the stock manifold sucks get the jspec on off the ze or get a damned good acid port or extrude hone on that bad boy.

Second bottle neck is cams. The stock cams are way to mild for a car that can rev this high.
