Default Help on painting

well since i know absolutely nothing about painting cars....wanted to see what you guys had to say..

i just put on my 99-00 front on my 96 hatch, so i need to paint my fenders and bumper and i just put on my new hatch(trunk) which is Midori green

so my car is red with unpainted black fenders and bumper, CF hood, no grill, and a midori green hatch.

i am officially riced out...

so my main question is what is some good primar (sp) or good techniques to prep my car?

thanks

i just tried calling the guy who painted my car but got no answer..

the only thing i could say is to call around to a few shops and talk to the painters, since they do this type of work every day they probably know a few tricks/tips..
