Anyone see this before? Shifter Kit .. changing the rubber bushings that holds the shifter plate to the body.. I've had so many transmission problems.. just searching around for reliable solutions..

 

yep i have the Symborski Shifter kit installed on my eclipse, it makes a world of difference and was worth the 35 bucks. shifting is more smoother and feels solid. the stock rubber bushings are crappy.

 

I have the prothane bushings they work nice. Probably should still get the Symborski kit for the bar that goes through the shifter. I just didn't like the idea of metal on metal so I opted for the poly bushings.

Shifts are definately alot better.

 

i have the kit, although its not installed, but i heard its worth it for how cheap it is

 

word.. i'm probably going to get the kit then.. if any of you DSMers have any advice on tranny's.. please enlightened me.. although everyone with a GSX has AWD.. so they probably don't have the same problems I have..

by advice i mean ways of improving a shitty stock transmission.. because mine is getting messed up with just daily driving.

 

yeah dont launch at 7 grand with the wheel turned, and youll be alright
