H22 swap problems.. Rough idle, bogging down
Just swapped a h22 into my 90 accord and I'm having a few issues.. I don't have the knock sensor hooked up because my sensors broken.
1. Car doesn't throw a check engine light until you take it down the road but I haven't got a chance to check the code yet. The car idles fairly smooth but when you give it gas it starts to bog down and sputter
2.car won't rev past 6500 rpm's
3. I swapped the p13 ecu out for the pt3 and it does the same thing. I don't know how the h22 is supposed to run on the pt3 but I was under the belief that it should run it fairly smooth but it doesn't. Car still sputters and bogs down on the pt3 which leads me to believe that I'm having an ignition problems. I have new plugs and wires but I'm not so sure how good of condition the distributor is in.
I'm hoping someones had the same issues before and that they will be able to help me out.

Sounds like you already know what needs to be fixed to get yourself back to baseline. Fix that stuff and then start troubleshooting. If you have a chipped P13 and don't have the stock chip that was removed (during the chipping process), someone should easily be able to burn one for you.

Very good points being made if they're true. And even if you got a stock map burnt on that chip, the P13 will not run properly without the H22 or larger injectors. Knock sensor shouldn't make the car run like piss but it'll throw a code for sure. Stock pt3 won't do much good either, the map/ignition timing settings in the ecu would conflict with that motor.
