It's official... C6 Z06 is a 10 second car stock.
Rich, get on this.
That's up to personal discretion. The motor is @ 11.0-1 compression from the factory so the few people that have FI'd the motor are generally keeping 5-7psi boost. The rods are titanium and the crank is forged.....just not sure how them pistons would fare. East Coast Supercharging has been playing with their silver C6 Z06 with a nice turbo setup......but word from SEMA is there are some nice options coming out soon. I've been talking to a few people about options for my car.....including Jeff Creech. Need a winter project ;-)

Car is high compression so it loves the juice... however more than 5 lbs of boost is playing w/ fire, it really needs blower piststons.
The LPE 427 TT package for the new Z includes full dissasembly of the motor and replacing the Ti rods w/ forged ones and blower pistons.
Dan... it's space concerns and weight... you see a DOHC 4.6 mustang motor next ot a 5.7 OHV LSX you'd be surprised at the size difference.

LOL............car comes with 2 fobs. Each one is programmable for individual drivers and it sets the stereo channels w/settings, seat, mirrors, steering wheel position etc. I learned the hard way when it nearly crushed me when I think fob #2 was set to "small chinese man".
