You're taking an awful chance not getting a lawyer... see the other thread for my opinion. Of course you could always just hope for the best... but I like to hedge my bets. Something learned from by experience.

My brother was working late in NOVA one night and got a wreckless for swerving.... he was going the speedlimit, no cars in sight and has a clean record.

i thought it was total BS and found a lawyer in NOVA who has gotten my cousin out of many. final result was improper driving. lawyer was a waste of money in my opinion.

There is a big difference between the two situations. Let me know if you need help finding Waldo, too.

Ive represented myself in 4 reckless driving tickets and got out of all of them w/ a slap on the wrist. I got a lawyer once and it got me a restricted license. Biggest waste of money. If you go into the court room have a strong but friendly presence and be a smooth talker, don’t interrupt the judge be respectful (Tell the truth) and be confident. Not overly confident and you will be fine.

P.S. I dont want to hear any crap about my driving record I know its bad. Never been in a accident though (Knock on wood) I just like to speed
Did you try to get your speedo recalibrated? If so who did you use?
