I think people are missing the true common sense of this thread... :P Don't buy cars that people will steal. Problem fixed.

 

i did not expect this when i bought the car in 99. ive been in the game for awhile .

I think what he meant was he didnt think back in 99, a SI would be a target car for thieves since I'm sure now for whatever reasons he may have for still holding onto the vehicle, ist at a cautious situation, watching out for theives.

 

Just buy a house with a garage? WTF do you do for a living, and where do you live? (parent's house doesn't count) Because a garaged home in NoVA is $$$$$$.

 

If i was ballin i would definately buy a house with a garage! Buying a house around here with a garage is a no go for right now. And no i do not want to move all the way out Fredricksburg or stafford or Hoodbridge. I buy close to where I work, but i will be buying a Lexus IS-f at the end of this year or beggining of next year!

 

A storage unit is around a hundred a month, Im sure some of you spend more on your cell phone.

 

LOL! My cell phone bill is more than $100 a month. But my car is my daily driver so no go on storage. I will keep my car somewhere else when i get my new car where i don't have to pay for storage.

 

It was just an option. I shared a storage unit with a friend for a little over $50 a month and we kept our bikes in there. I guess if you aren't next to the storage unit, it can be a PITA to keep a daily in.
