From my perspective, he's just making a point that the regional manager is trying to diffuse the situation no matter what it takes. He's making a point that ultimately he's willing to pay someone to prevent disturbing the business by making a scene. Unfortunately, it's true. That goes for just about any business though

 

yes, I understand it now, but what I'm saying is that people need to know and hear the whole story especially if he's the manager, it didnt need to go to district but because the head manager was the one being biased, thats why I took further action. Not everyone that walks in there is automatically presumed a crook if they try and return something.

 

Haha. Both times were with me and both times were for my plugs and cutoff wheel. That was also the last time I'll set foot in any AA store. How do you fuck up looking up a spark plug order when you have the damn part number right in front of you? Want to know how? Go to Advanced and they'll be sure to show you!

When I go into a parts store looking for a part, the first thing I'm asked is what am I looking for and I give them a part number (seems logical). They call it up to see if it's in stock, go in the back to get it, i pay and i'm on my way. Not at advanced... it's always "What is the make model and year of your car? I'm not showing that on my screen. You need these because those ain't for your car blahbittyblahblah...". Everytime I hear that I want to headbutt the guy. If I give you a part number, you say "I'll be right back" (and not another fuckin word) as you go get my part. Simple as that.

There are many other places to go which are much better. There is no real need for that store to even exist unless you want a fireball steering wheel cover.

I need to find the video of the dumbass kid in Florida who decided it would be funny to post a video of him on YouTube and Streetfire of him doing a burnout in the parts delivery truck. He rolled the window down for the video and said "We're ready in Advance!" and smoked the tires. Unfortunately, I was made responsible for hunting him down so they could fire him.

...and they did, of course. I felt bad, but he should thought about it.

 

i normally just buy my car cleaning supplies from them... no drama there :P
