How will that help ? More guns isn't the answer of solving the problem, yet yes it will feel more safer for the carrier but will be more dangerous knowing that everybody now has a firearm on them.
I'd love to comment on this, but I don't want to start a political debate, so I'll refrain.
Wtf ? you try to compare va beach to a death squad in germany ?
Ok obviously you are too lazy to look it up so I'll give you a quick history lesson. The gestapo was originally like our FBI, a federally backed police organization that operated in the best interest of the government, shortly before WWII, they became basically untouchable by anyone except the highest levels of government. They could enforce the laws however they saw fit, usually ruthlessly
They were not a death squad until the SS took over.
Lesson over.
Now go somewhere you can't harm anymore threads, like in the freeway.
I do wish I had a basement, but you gotta start somewhere. I'm just working my way up.
Its not even a basement for me, I just dont like the fact that in order to get to anything (say your pipes burst and need to be replaced), you're now going to have to have your carpet pulled up, and a jackhammer taken to your house so they can get to the pipes to replace them.
Its much easier to be able to crawl underneath your house and replace them. Not to mention much less expensive.

Excellent point. Thats actually the first time I thought about that. Hmmmm. Well, knock on would, I hope that doesn;t happen to me. But I think we've jacked Blasko's thread long enough.
all that sh!t needs to stay on that side of the water and not infect the virginia beach area where I live. no wonder the cost of living here is more expensive because we don't have the problems like bad news has.
If you think we're the only place with problems, you're sadly mistaken. Downtown Newport News really is a shit hole, but there are plenty of terrible places in the southside cities too.

Ha. You've been to my house, right? There isn't a bad thing about the area. I'd chose Hampton any day over Newport News (at least if I was where I am now).

Extreme exageration. Doug lives in Newport News...it's not bad there.

Agreed. I've been considering getting out of this area as well. I have no clue where I'd want to go though.
