car has no power
i can crank the car and it runs fine will tack up and everything.when i put the i 1st gear it runs like shit i can give it all the gas but will barley move has no power.the car it 93 civic with a 1.5sohc

I would start with checking the plug wires for arching inside the spark plug tubes. Second thing I would check would be the catalytic convertor.

check engine is on but have not checked the code yet a friend thought maybe it could be the pressure plate

if your car was running bad and you have a check engine light then you should probably start there
