Gotcha. I figured that the Renisis would probably be a little harder to find people to work on it (and know what they are doing). What problems do RX8s have then?
personally i wouldnt get either car. the rx8 isnt well rounded enough and the 240 is going to be hard to find in good condition and that doesnt require some tlc.

The biggest problem with RX-8's are rotary newbs
-flooding due to shutting of the engine when it's cold
-flooding repeatedly leads to fouled plugs and hard starting
-consumes quite a bit of oil during the break-in period - lot of people don't check their oil with every fill of gasoline
-crappy gas mileage, you'll be lucky to see 25mpg
