I could also add to my sold list a '92 BMW 325is (E36), it's one of the few cars I ever regret selling.
Unlike alot of the guys posting I've owned a wide variety of cars in the last 24 years.
i approve. one of the few 240s thats not 4 different colors on shitty wheels and is about to fall apart
you by any chance live in greenbrier, ivystone more specifically?
Thats a hot RX. What would you compare it to, power wise?
Im still not sure about the M3 idea...if im going to be making payments, im going to want lower mileage, you know?
So far, ive got 240SX, RX8, and now S2000 to the list...

1500 for a new engine definitely isnt too bad. Was that including the labor, or just the engine?
lol, why does everyone want me to get an M3 so bad? I feel like they are really exspensive, and for the price of a low mileage RX8, all i can find is a high mileage(90-100K) M3...
If you find a low mileage one for the same price, let me know!!!

Topping it out took 7-8000 rpm in 4th gear for at least 45 seconds, once was on low oil. NA rotaries are bulletproof IMO, oil changes are almost all of what determines the engine's life. NA FCs have gone over 100-150k if maintained right, honestly I don't see myself driving on the same engine for over 100k...
2 geos...haha. That made me laugh. But yeah, Khan, I drive the same way...so I'm right there with you...im actually trying to blow up my Eclipse right now...so I have even more of a reason to convince myself to just buy a new car, lol...but as of now...no joy. Im not really that worried about mpg by the way. I havent had a really good fuel efficient car since ive been driving...so why start now? lol. Car and Driver apparently loves the RX8...their review was almost over the top. If i maintain oil (which i normally do) and don't completely dog the engine...im looking at a fairly reliable sports car? And im guessing the S2000 is more powerful and more reliable? If thats the case...I definitely may be looking into one of those...
