For a daily driver, I wouldn't recommend it. I've got a late 91 with a 1.6, and I've had no problems. I've heard the 1.6 responds better to boost, but I've heard also heard the opposite. You want to make sure the CAS O-ring is good, if not it's gonna leak down the back side of the motor. Mods can be found anywhere, but Miata.net's review section is very helpful when choosing what parts to get. As far as spending $4k on one you should have no problem. Come winter a lot of people will be unloading them, don't touch an automatic, and make sure there is no rot in the rear rocker, as this is a sign the top drains are clogged, and been neglected for some time.

I just picked up a 93 C package. I just plan a little suspension work and the 1.8 rear diff with an rx-7 lsd(clutch type). Then, later down the road, forced induction would be nice.

I want these.....

My S2000 is more cramped than my dad's 08 Miata from the chest down, but I have waaaaaayyy more headroom with my hardtop.

Those fenders on the 1991 black Miata are SICK, but all those pictures just go to show, there is only so much wheel you can fit in them! I wanted one of these so badly before I could afford the S2000. I really think the 94-95 is simply a true roadster and I love that.

I've actually been tossing around the idea of a BA as an autocross/sunny day bitch too.

I think it's a great little car. I also have big brother in the garage and they would look sick together.
