Nope sir. Just keep your shit together and you don't have a problem. BTW the BMW keys reprogram and recharge themselves every time you start the engine....not the very best in the industry but I'll take it.....I rotate my keys as the manual recommends....

ebay sells em for like 20 bucks then u just go get em cut....

maury kroll in norfolk, there like 45 bucks max if it has the transponder, i send all of my clients there when they have chipped keys and are getting a remote start installed

45 bucks doesnt sound to bad. Thats exactly why Im getting the key. Do you install remote start?

I ALMOST lost one of mine, but thankfully I got it back. I also rotate every 6 months as recommended.

that wont work it doesnt have a transponder, the door will open but the car will not start

actually they will, i had to get a few for my truck that has a transponder in it.... they come w a sheet on how to program em, kinda like an alarm key pad.
