Went to an I-club meet last week and realized how many WRB's there are, and it made me want to paint my car. I think WishIhadaSilvia tried it and it turned out pretty good, and I read the thread on here, but how many others here actually tried the "roller" paint job?
Chris...Id punch you in the biscuits if you did that. From what ive seen of roller paintjobs they're good from afar but far from good. Very cliche I know but it's true.
You can make a roller paint job come out just as good as a spray job, it just takes alot more work.
Right, the thread was on here awhile back. Guy did 2 of his cars and had many pics. Seemed kinda neat... I'm always up for trying different things, but it's really hard to gamble with the worse of consequences. Of course, his were older project cars. It was a big thread on here for awhile.
I would paint it, WRB is way played out....... but dont roller it....
Yes, can't tell who's who half the time, ie. WRB & gold wheels.
Lil' bit of an intermission... put these on earlier today while flippin through the threads (DBA 650). Jebuz, NY car for sure, I can't believe how much rain of rust fell during the removal of stock rotor (whadda bi*** to remove).
For curiousity's sake, has anyone on VaDriven actually attempted a roller job and completed it with results? No, I'm not thinking about it anymore, but so many "talked" of doing it and I'm curious as to who followed suit.
