Get a Legacy I'm just kidding I know I am going to get some shit for that. LOL. Seriously though....I have a few things EMS, intake and CBE and I am not very far from a stock STI....and it only cost me a little under $1000........but I also paid the same price as an STI for mine

Also if your not coming back for 6 months, pricing can and will drop some more. Look for deals, and dont be scared to travel to get a car. Once you get it go to all aspects and get a baseline and discuss somethings with kienan on what you want to do. Tell him your goal with the car, he'll share his opinion.

Yea,it will be a new year by the time I get back..so the BB will drop slightly on certain cars.Ive heard about All aspects, but when I heard about them,I had a domestic.Ive been doing a little research here and there on mods..just trying to get a general idea, and a set goal in my head of what I want to accomplish.thanks for the advice.

I'm going to have my fox for goddamnever, and I've already spent $7k including the car, and all it is is a 5 lug foxbody. I could have just started with a 94-95 GT and had the 5 lug disc brakes from the factory, but I didnt.

Its easier to spend $500 10 times than it is to spend $5000 one time.

I understand what you mean. The only reason im real cautious with money, and cars,is because of how I used to be.I would spend check after check (living from check to check as well) on my car,and nothing else.I had no real priorities, and my priorities were fucked up.So Im not trying to go back to that route.I can afford the STI,thats not the problem,I just want to make a good decision with my money.

Understanding...just remember you said that when I pass you Just jokin with ya. The only reason that Legacy's are comparable to the STIs is because it is the same enine....just a little detuned. But it is very inexpensive to bring it up to a stock STI.....I have 300 to the crank right now and like I said I paid under $1000.

Haha I know you dont want to hear it cause you want an STI but I like to throw my 2 cents in. The reason I can do this is because my husband has an 04 WRX with way more money into it and more stuff on it and my car is still faster He doesn't like to admit it though.

Haha I know.....he gets mad when I tease him about his car. The Legacy's are only 250/250 whereas the STIs are 300 and I don't know about the TQ...... someone can help me with that?? It might only be 250/250 but I gained 40hp and 50flbsTQ just by adding an Accessport. I dynoed at 230/265 (a few away from an STI) which IMO isn't bad for Stage 1.

But see we are in a different boat....I like the luxury with the performance. I just love to see the look on peoples faces when they are passed by a family sedan......kinda like the wagon people do I'm sure.
My car is a lot smoother than my husbands. I basically consider them hers and his cars.
