I'm about to buy this car on a whim, what do you think? (eg w/ 23k)
Condition Value
Excellent
$4,020
Good
$3,640
Fair
$3,205
This is what Kellys blue book value said it was, and this what I think the car had. But 6K is definitly way too much, I bought a 94 4 door eg with a full JDM B-16 swap with a B-16 tranny that had LSD and a stage 2 cluch and Skunk 2 fully adjustable coilovers and was clean as hell for 4K here. Car had no problems or anything. Id say keep ur 6K and find something that'll be worth ur while.

Look at the Shift Knob, Steering Wheel, Window Handles, Pedals, Carpet, etc. If they have a lot of wear, its probably got more than 23k miles on it. It looks like the hood dosent fit right, but that may just be the camera angle. Either way, its not worth 6K even if it had 10k original miles.

Thanks everyone for the input, i'm just impatient when I see something I like =/
Yeah, chances are he's bluffing.
It doesn't look like a roll back to me. I think the carpet looks fine, it's just a little dirty. I'd go $4500 max if the paint is in good shape. Chances are that a 13 year old car has a few paint blemishes even if it does have low miles. I'd recommend just enjoying it for what it is though.... transportation. That would make a GREAT daily driver. Then just get something that's not in such good shape, or has a lot more miles for a project car.

Thing is, it is going to be a project car. I'm just looking at it as... I'm replacing the entire interior to 100% brand new stock. I mean just the carpet brand new is 300 + floor mats + seats + plastics(dash/doors/pillars) + headliner + buttons + other odds and ends. So it'd save me a couple grand easily if not more if I could get a civic that's already practically brand new. (For what I'm going to be doing).
