My first bike project
no, the 750 shocks are actually shorter than the 550's. it's not so much the spring rate that makes it handle like it does, it's the damping characteristics. needs more compression and rebound damping, but they're not adjustable. if you really want it to handle nice, you're gonna have to go buy a better set of shocks than any factory honda shocks. progressive and works make good quality shocks for that bike, just make sure they're the right length.

ummm are u sure about the "not a adjustable"?... since i have a set sitting out side.. ill took a pic for u...

wow that is pretty how much do you want for the shocks?
sweet I am so depressed sitting in the house with the awesome weather outside and no way to ride! When my sitter said she had a death in the family and she would need thurs & Fri off the first thing I thought was well the weather is supposed to be bad wont be able to ride anyway so why not....I know bad but then i thought wow that was a bad thought lol she just had a death in the family for crying out load and I'm thinking about riding....

spring preload doesn't count as adjustability. damn near every shock on the planet has spring preload adjustment, it's just for compensating for weight, for the most part. (setting static sag)
