make sure the MAP sensor and TPS sensor connectors arnt backwards. its a common mistake,and symptoms are the car will start,but die immediatly. had it happen to my hatch,i switch them around and presto! she ran....

Definitely sounds like timing is off. If the map and TPS arent switch then I would definitely say that your timing is jumped or was not timed correctly. I definitely wouldnt run the car anymore tho.

The easiest way to check is to pull of the top timing cover. Put the crank on TDC. Make sure that the cam is timed correctly.

yo it was the rack pinion and the timeing belt dude fucked up my timing but it sound good now

yeah....i dont get this. there is no way possible that your steering rack could of caused this problem?
