Default Honda emblem

When I bought my car it had one of those red "H" Honda emblems on the back. I want to take it off but Im not sure how it was attached. If it just sticks on there, if I rip it off will paint come with it?

Thanks

Pryed it off but unfortunately there were two holes that stick into the trunk lid. Any ideas on how I can cover these up?

But I should learn, I suppose, so what would this consist of? Just filling it in and sanding it down? What about paint?

go to advance and get some bondo. put it on, sand it down even.

what color is your car? if its somthing easy like white, take some spray paint and lightly put it on until its blended perfectly.
