some updated pics
i'll keep an eye out. since brickhouse/7 cities cycles aren't in buisness any more, there really aren't any salvage places to pull parts from, but they do pop up from time to time.
All I really need is a good frame w/the title. A while back I picked up a GS450-S, which was cool as hell with the squared off tank and swoopy tail. I dragged it to VIR and sold it during AMA weekend two years ago when the old garage started busting at the seams. Knew I'd regret it. The S is tough to find...but if I find a good frame I have enough old GS stuff in my junk pile to cobble a decent cafe. Still don't have time...but a little ol' frame can rest in the attic for a while!
i may have something for ya, actually. have to make a phone call or 3, but i know a guy that had a pair of 'em sitting in his backyard rotting away. might be able to get em for nothin, just to get them out of his yard. (i once got a running 289 ford from the same guy, he's got alot of crap in his yard, and 9 times out of 10, he's happy for someone to just take it so he doesn't have to look at it any more)
I saw a tractor trailer over there the other day...did they close the doors completely?? Hell, I never even got over there.
I looked on my old supersportbikelinks page, and found this.

Steve, does he have any brake lines in that back yard of his?? Now that I put the bars on, my lines are stretched to their limits....any ideas? Sorry, not trying to jack your thread, but since it's your fault I now like building fighters...or at least one....then I thought you might be able to help!!
Dave, also found this one on my old site that might help...

he's closing down shop as we speak. you'd have to go up there and see what's left as far as brake lines go. i haven't been there in a while, i haven't a clue what all is left there.
lol, he wasn't paying the rent. Glenda still owns the building aparently. So they got shut down. I just came back from there (had to get my w2) and the place is pretty much completely empty. I hear Bugsy is opening a shop not far from there, doing his normal work from there, and he's wanting to talk to me about doing some work there, but it would take a hell of a deal to get me away from where i'm at now.
