I have a b16a2 with some bolt-ons and its good fun. Kind of expensive but its fun reliability.

You are asking for peoples opinion, so ill drop my 02. I think if you are looking for a daily like you have stated then i would go with the b16 hands down. Dispite what another memeber said about being costly, it is one of the cheaper DOHC swaps besides a ZC and LS.

The D series turbo will need to be tuned and even at 9 pounds of boost a stock d series tranny is not built for the power. So you might be looking at trannies and cv axles if you like to enjoy your driving.

My guess is you dont have the money for anything atm and you are kicking around a dream, agian my 02.

If you decide to go with a boosted D series just keep in mind you want to have a good tune. BadNews5 can attest to what happens to a D series with a home tune. A dude we both know had a D series that went critical because of detonation. Well detonation and a retard test driving it.

Off topic, when are you putting the teg back on the road Matt?

I wouldnt modify a D series motor. They can make good power for cheap, but thats if you turbocharge them and then they have terrible lag b/c the head doesnt flow very well.

if you decide to do a motor swap atleast get a bigger motor than what you already have, which means more than a 1.6 liter. Then its on what you can afford. I like B20's over LS motors. But I would go with a GSR over a B20 or LS, then you have the Type-R motor which is also nice but expensive.

I would not go with a H series motor, but if you can afford it K series is nice but if you decide to go that route get atleast a rsx type-s or type-r motor.

These are just my opinions with how i would go.
