Either you're a simple steak and potatos man or you just haven't looked far enough if you consider Ruth's Chris the best you've had in this area.

 

there is no 5 star restaurant around here honestly. Try Create in Newport news, 456 Fish, Vintage tavern in suffolk, Stove in portsmouth, etc. They are the closest thing to 5 star around here.

Or come to no frill grill and i'll cook you up a 2 star platelol

 

well like I said about Aldo's, it was my first real experience with something not corporately owned and it was pretty damn good eats, best i've had SO FAR.. can't wait to get out and try more things.

Theirs the whitehall in Williamsburg. Never been their because I don't want to help the owner buy another red ferrari to her fleet of 3.

I think we just need an offical "very good" restaurant thread because there are a lot of places out there I wouldn't consider 5 star but are very good and unheard of to most.

Only in the last year or so have I started to venture out and I'm kicking myself in the ass for not having done this sooner.
