Default Welding Stainless steel...

Any places that will be open tomorrow that can weld stainless steel? Its only one flange, shouldn't take very long to patch it up..

I would think some muffler shops would be open today in your area.

I went ahead and just took it to my work and MIG'd it. Not pretty but its function over form!

Thanks though Chris, I really appreciate it! Can you work with alum by chance?

i don't have a ton of experience with aluminum, just because nobody ever wants to pay the extra money for it.i have fiddled around with it just to get used to it,and i'm going to do all my new charge piping in aluminum to show people how cool it can be(most of the time it's hard to convince people to even spend the extra money on stainless over mild, let alone aluminum)....anyway,i want to get some aluminum stuff done on my car and see how it holds up before doing anything for anybody else with it.

is this Charlie?
by hot side,do you mean before the intercooler?if so,it's fine.if you mean downpipe, then no.after the downpipe is fine, but probably not the best ides for a street car.
