Default Need rotors changed on 94 accord lx.

I went to do them today, only to find out the hubs to be pressed to get the rotors off.

Heres what to do.

Remove the entire knuckle assembly, remove 4 bolts in the rear and 4 bolts in the front which hold the hub to the knuckle. Then press the hub out of the knuckle and the rotor slips off.

The problem is I do not have axcess to a press and do not feel like taking it all apart again.

So if your up for it give me a pm.

Im in Virginia Beach near best buy.

You should also get new bearings while you're at it. Sometimes the bearings can get screwed up when you remove the hub.

They make a special tool that you can get the hub off of the car while the spindle is still attached. It is just for 90-97 Accords. I know Matco sells it, but I'm not sure who else does.

Ya I know about the bearings, I will have all the parts, just need a laborer.

Just found the part. Too bad its 300 bucks.

But also a slide hammer has been used my tech's as an alternative and has also prevented damaging the bearing. I think I may just try tomorrow using a rummer mallet and a socket the size of the bearing so I only hit the outter edge and not the center.

Yeah. A lot of people don't know about the 4, 12mm bolts on the back side of the knuckle. No need to seperate the bearing or use a slide hammer on them.
