With my stock gears.(3.23) I had to run 65 to 70mph before the 3600 would lock up completely. Im in the process and installing 3.73s amongst a few other things to see how that does.....Just my two cents Ive never really messed with anything like your running so I could be completely wrong.
Really? that bad huh?? What rpm can you launch with that big a stall? I need to launch at least at 2700rpm. I want faster ets vs driveability.

By all means Ill probaly continue to give up driveability for power. I havent got to play with my car much since i put the stall in it. I had a lifter collapse just as the new cam setup was breaking in good, so buying new lifters lead me to buying new heads and rockers arms etc... and now Im waiting for Texas Speed to send me everything so I can get it back together......But anyway im thinking if I were you Id go with no more than a 3000 to 3200 stall at the most and just go with a lower gear like a 4.11 as previously stated.

Yea, once you get a slightly higher stall AND those lower gears, that thing will bang out of the hole I bet!

I did buy a smaller supercharger pulley yesterday for 50 bucks. I wonder what 25 hp/tq more will do for me on the track??

I did do a little better last night
Best run:
RT-5.22
60'-2.11
1/8-8.5666
mph-84.6
With the mph it has more left in it, possiblly 8.4's. Swapping pulley on the supercharger maybe this weekend, changing transmissionfluid, and a couple other things.I've got fuel issues, my pump is maxed. I'm running the focus svt pump with has been taken up to 400hp with a supercharger. I've got an exposed wire going from the fuel hat to the pump that I think is the problemb. I've also done the power wire upgrade from the power box to the fuel hat, so I need to upgrade the wiring to the pump now.Tire pressure was at 18psi, that helped alot.
I ran consistant 8.6's, and had a problemb hitting the rev limiter. I have it set at 5900rpm and I may bump it to 6100 until I get a tach and shift light.

Also I entered the mustang rear wheel drive class and didnt really know about the dial in time and breakout procedures. I dialed a 8.6t and hit the 8.5. Lost first round eliminations. I thought the fastest car won. That shit sucked.I would really of liked to win some money though.
I want to see what it will do on a 1/4 track. My car sucks out the hole but really turns loose up top. All in all the car runs and pulls hard, I'm real happy with it. 7's soon to come with a stall and suspension mods(control arms).

The winner is the person who runs cloest to their dial-in without going faster. Some asshole in an old automatic Cutlass or some other bullshit car always wins those.

Handicapping the race.It makes for a larger crowd and more racers. But for 5 extra dollars it's worth it to win a little money. I may try again next weekend.
