I saw what looked like an f3 forming over lynnhaven mall and then break apart halfway before it touched down. It looked like a tight vortex and I nearly shit my pants.

 

oh shit then some people got very lucky

 

You don't even know the half of it. I knew it was coming though because I saw the clouds that I saw on stormchasers whenever they chased them. There was this eerie long tail of clouds that lead into a supercell.

Everyone in my class looked out the window and then went outside to watch it form off in the distance. Could you imagine the devastation it would cause over in the lynnhaven area? I mean not just the mall, but the restaurants, houses, banks, and etc.

I don't ever recall being as scared as I was because it was happening around 6:20 right after they issued the tornado watch.

 

He was on Dragon Ball Z right?!?!















lol.. I live a few miles from Lynnhaven... a little windy.. nothing serious that I saw! They got hail in Chesapeake I heard!

 

I didn't form into a full tornado, which is obvious, but it was hovering there in the atmosphere trying to form a spiraling vortex of death.


It looked like this, but not nearly as tight, big, or dark.

 

I watched that mass of dark clouds when I was leaving TCC coming up Princess Anne. You could see the lightning erupting inside it. It was absolutely beautiful but very terrifying.
