1984 datsun s12 200sx drift build
thanks, but, i was unsatisfied. i had very hard core toe out, and with no e brake, i could NOT, do the big uphill turn on the course around the pavilion, no power steering was killing my hands, even though ive realized i lie no power steering, you can feel the road better, and its a stiff return rate when transistons, just hard to iniatiate
people said toe out helps, i dont like it whatsoever, ruins my front tires too lol. no more toe out
heres my fucked driveshaft, i cant beleive i drifted half of the day like this, my whole car was making a clanking sound by the end of the day and i could lift my driveshaft up like a inch
haha
ill go to the yard tomorrow, i already pulled it out
how did it happen? im not sure, but i found a 4 inch by 4 inch metal square clogged up there, seems like it got jammed up in there and started hacking away
pix

now for the rear disk brake swap, i havent decided if i really want to do it yet lol
started taking the h165 axle apart

i could possibly swap those axles and bolt them into my other solid axle
but im not sure if
A my h190 diff has the same spleen gear as the h165 axles
and
B im not sure how much weaker the h165 axles are...
because the h190 differential on my car is rated at a silly 285 tq
possibly the h165 axles could be even more weak, and i dont want that shitt
if i had a god damn irs s12... aka any other year then 1984, id have disks, and a r180 good for liike 300+ tq
the BEST option, is to cut the bearings off the axles, and the locks that hold them,
slide the disk brake bracket off, and slide those onto my stock h190 shafts, then buy new bearings and locks, torch them to death, and smach them back on

yea you've done a ton of work.... but seriously do some thing about the rake of your car man.
not only wll it look better but it "might" handle better.

who are you? you realize theres not much i can do about it right? i have it zip tied up before events and the tie break when i hit shit, then the lip sags
if i had it bolted up id be ripping my bumper apart along with it, and i highly doubt a piece of plastic will restrict my driving
