this car is dumb. The racked look is dumb. S12's are doo doo. I think you are putting way too much effort into something that will never slide like other cars out there. Take it how you want it. I bet if you had a nicely tuned car you would do very good. Im a big fan of seat time rather than having a badass drift car, but you have to start with a good plat form. An s12 is not it IMO.

Who is Rocketman you say?

He has been drifting before you even knew wft drifting was.

When you say your toe out killed your front tires, were you running the toe up front, out back, or both? Toe out helps with drifting if you run it in small amounts. Like 1/16th or 1/8th toe out, nothing dramatic. I ran 1/8th toe out on the street for a little while, the car was stupid responsive/twitchy but it killed my tires so I set it back to 0.

You should come down for the next driftwater event!!!!

the s12 is NOT a good platform whatsoever, but thats what im doing is creating one... its not very hard really.

my wheelbase size is the same as a 240's... it looks small, but the s12 is bigger then you usually think

at the moment im at a stripped down stock 90 240 with a single slammer honestly... i weigh about 2600 pounds maybe, not much less then a s13.. only difference is my more rare datsun model has solid axle, but solid axle has advantages.... or not lol

yea im always open for advice, me being 18 kinda proves i havent been in the game for so long.

i mean i didnt intend to be unique, my mom bought my first s12, my first car. i wanted a acura rsx, then she went broke and she found this cheapo car for sale a business owner brought home because no one would buy it

i tried to sell the s12 like 5 times no one bought it, then a friend brought me to a drift event noticing i had a S chassis and i realized how god damn cool drifting is
and bam, picked up another 12 because... it was cheap, and i knew little about cars, and the little i knew was about my s12..

and here i am farther down the road, its not hard at all the s12 chassis is so similar to the s13 its not even funny

like if i want to do a conversion, or make something, i just got to take it all apart, and frankinstein it back together like a puzzle and it works lol mix and match s13/s12 parts

would i rock a s13? fuck yes i most deffinetly will, but i coudlnt imagine paying $1000 plus ever again for a s13 when i can go get a s12 for free-600 bux

i love oldschool anyways, my frame rails look better then most s13's
