Question for crome tuners with moates hardware
Hey, i bought the Moates kit (hulog, ostrich, chip burner, crome pro license etc.) I installed crome on my laptop and got my pro license and everything. I hooked up my ostrich and everything connects and works fine. But when i hook up my hulog i cannot connect to my ecu. I followed the moates documentation, and the xenocron documentation and i still cant get it to work.
do i have to have a wideband hooked up to datalog?
If possible, would anyone like to meet up and earn some extra cash and have lunch/dinner all on me to help me get this thing to work. Located in NOVA Thanks.

go to device manager and make sure comm port and buad rate is the same as crome I think baud should be 38000 or 34000 did you install the correct driver
i matched many different baud rates, still got nothing. i installed the drivers from moates.net several times.. still nothing. there must be something im doing wrong i just cant figure it out. Thats why im tryng to find someone that can look over my shoulder and help me out.
is the white wire facing towards the chip it will plug in either way it may be backwards or bad solder connection at the ecu. does the sanity loopback test return failed?
i havent done a sanity loopback test. i have the xtreme hulog (newer version) so there is no white wire for the datalogging cable. the colors are black brown red and orange. read that the black wire goes to pin #1
