He's a damn good driver! He used to run in ST1 until he built his engine. His power to weight is to high now to run in ST1 so he runs in SU. I'm trying not to run in SU but I haven't decided yet as I might just try and go all out and attend all the Redline time attack battles next season. Not sure yet.

 

Pretty much. This build is about building a scary fast E36. To get the same horsepower out of an S52 or S54 would cost you 25K and i'm not kidding I know the engine builders. The LS1 is light as shit, it sits way back in the chassis and is lighter than the iron block 6 that would be taking it's place. It's a no brainer really.

Some might say some PSI would be the way to go but if you have driven a 500hp all motor car on the track and a 500hp turbo car on the track most will pick the all motor car. Linear power curves are your friend if your really trying to extract everything from your machine.

Yes. sti is still here. I've convinced him at this point not to touch it just yet as I enjoy driving it when ever he isn't.
