Race the same way you drive on the cruise to the track.

Plus allow an ET bonus for the group with the higher MPH like I stated in my post 172. To give some credit to the roll racers.
If the turbo guys get meth the nitrous guys need stand alone systems.... POINT BLANK PERIOD....

Here's my "ideal" rules...

Let everyone drive whatever the hell they want as long as it makes it XX number of miles to the track... Pull directly into the lanes, change nothing (nitrous cars can change bottles, turbo cars can ice intercoolers),make a pass. 15-30 min cooldown, change nothing (nitrous cars can change bottles, turbo cars can ice intercoolers), make a pass. Another 15-30 minute cooldown, change nothing (nitrous cars can change bottles, turbo cars can ice intercoolers), make a pass.

In order to determine the winner average the runs for each car and then average the top 10 cars for each "class" (import or domestic).

This was initially a way to run "the fastest streetcars around" so lets do just that. I've always liked the "True Street" format.... Let's make it happen for Drag....

I was commenting on the man's excuse. "we can't race because we'll blow up and can't afford to rebuild" was his excuse. I was making a point of how stupid that makes you guys look....
That was my excuse. I'm in the middle of a build, in which I can't complete.

I'll come play, but i'll be in the 13s with my DD and this is a grown man war.

I don't have any problems with the way you have it set up, but it's hard to say it's OK to run race gas one way, but not another.

Meth is not just for turbo cars. (I don't even run it)

Icing down between rounds, no way

I didn't say that that's my ideal way to do it... I just said that if one power adder gets a supplemental fuel system, all of them should.

I said (paraphrasing) give everyone the opportunity to run race gas, slicks, etc. as long as the cars are capable of making a long "realistic" cruise (no jumping on the interstate at 45mph for 20 miles bullshit).

The turbo guys (with A2W intercoolers) always bitch about not icing between rounds... Let them do it this time and see what happens...

What kind of car do you have???? Maybe you should use meth... (if turbo or sc) it adds octane, cools the charge, and a gallon goes a long way during street racing nights.

I have a TT 03 Cobra with a 6 speed. I plan on running meth in the future, but I'm still just trying to work the bugs out on straight pump gas.

f it...how about we all just show up and race and let the losers make the excuses? lets just make it happen daaaang.

if your 'street' car has one seat, no carpet, and plastic windows and you still think it belongs there..good for you and for your sake i hope it does well!

I know it seems like you'd be complicating things by adding meth now, but if you get everything as close to the finished product as possible now, you won't have to screw with it again later..... And it adds a pretty good safety margin

It seems like great minds think alike...

On second thought... how did I get so caught up in this thread????
