Pretty much. I ran 11.0 @ 134 the previous day. I couldn't get any traction all weekend. If I launched off the 2 step I would spin, and if I didn't I would bog miserably. My best 60' was a 1.97, most of my passes 2.0-2.2 60's. I was on pump gas and 19#'s of boost.

 

how far was orlando from the event?

 

They said he drove about 100 miles one way.

 

eh it woudve been more impressive if somebody from say VA or somebody farther north from florida wouldve won AND drove there..

Ya, 100 miles is still pretty impressive for a mid 8 sec car. If you can go 100 miles, I'm sure you could go pretty much any distance. No way in hell I would drive a car I was racing the 14 hrs it took us to get to tampa without a trailer.

my third pass in memphis the past october was a 9.0 at 158. that was like 800 miles one way.
