the car that im working on is a 95 escort for my father. all the trouble started when he turned on his AC and it blew the head gasket letting coolant leak into the engine. i have cleaned out the engine and replaced all of the gaskets. the engine moves when i try to start so i know this compression. its getting gas. but yesterday when i tested the coil pack to see if power was comming off of it it didnt show that it was hot while trying to start it. so this morning i bought a new coil pack yet it still will not start. any suggestions?

Is your new coil pack working? Or still no spark. Also how's the timing? That could easily make it so it turns over, gets gas, but not start. i would recheck it.
